The Kaytus V3 dual-socket server set a new record in the 2017 SPEC CPU benchmark test, with its performance improving by

Compared with the record set by the previous generation platform, KR1280V3 achieved a remarkable 70% performance improvement, which significantly improved the efficiency of data compression, molecular dynamics, modeling, and rendering workloads.

SINGAPORE, Feb. 24-kays, a leading provider of end-to-end artificial intelligence and liquid cooling solutions, announced that its two-socket V3 series server KR1280V3 has achieved the top ranking in the latest benchmark test results of SPEC CPU 2017 released by the internationally recognized standardized performance evaluation company (SPEC). With advanced architecture design, KR1280V3 ranks first in the Specrate 2017 integer and Specrate 2017 floating-point benchmark suites.
The KR1280V3 server in Kaytus uses an AMD EPYC 9965 processor, which has achieved a record performance in the benchmark of SPEC CPU 2017. The benchmark result of the Specrate integer is 3350 times higher than the benchmark value, and the benchmark result of Specrate floating point is 2700 times higher. These achievements are 61% and 70% higher than the highest performance score recorded by the AMD platform. As a key benchmark of system throughput in multi-task parallel processing, SPECrate results highlight the outstanding ability of KR1280V3 in handling highly parallel and high-intensity multi-threaded workloads. The server has shown the best performance in its class in key artificial intelligence and high-performance computing applications and has achieved:
88% improvement of the artificial intelligence recursive solution generator (Sudoku)
68% enhancement of herb-beta tree search (chess)
99% improvement in molecular dynamics
95% increase in 3D rendering and animation performance
KAYTUS KR1280V3 server has also achieved top ranking in many compute-intensive fields, including Monte Carlo tree search (Go), molecular dynamics, and 3D rendering and animation. This excellent performance benefits from its excellent storage capacity and high-throughput architecture, which can provide efficient support for high-speed computing, high-frequency transactions, virtualization, and other demanding applications.
