It was generally a sumed that recently dismi sed general manager Peter Chiarelli wouldnt be out of work long and it sounds like he already has a team Joe Harris Jersey interested in his services. Theres also an established president of hockey operations with the club in Kevin Lowe, who has been in a management role with the organization for just under 15 years.So what would Chiarelli do in Edmonton and would anyone be losing their job as a result?Former Hockey Canada executive Bob Nicholson was recently named CEO of the OilersEntertainment D'Angelo Russell Jersey Group, and has added responsibilities that now includes overseeing the Oilers busine s and hockey operations. That puts him in a position over Lowe, and gives him the authority to shuffle the front office if he chooses and if owner Darryl Katz is on board. Also, it's important to note that Chiarelli was part of the management team for the 2014 Canadian Olympic Team that won gold with Nicholson still at the helm of Hockey Canada. Though both Lowe and MacTavish have vast experience as executives, particularly within the Oilers organization, Nicholson would probably be wise to look outside of the organization for a fresh voice. Nicholson himself is an outsider as he has only been part of the organization since last summer, when he was hired by the teams ownership group.Chiarelli, who was fired April 15 by the Bruins, may have ended his last job in unceremonious fashion, but he had a ton of succe s in that role. The Bruins won the Stanley Cup in 2011 and took home the Presidents Trophy last season. They mi sed the playoffs for the first time in seven years this season, which played a big role in Chiarellis ouster.A lot of what went wrong with Andre Roberson Jersey the Bruins was salary cap related. In Edmonton, theres not exactly a clean slate, but a much more manageable one.
